You may have noticed a recent influx of spam and phishing scams to your email inbox.
Phishing emails are designed to fraudulently obtain sensitive information such as usernames, passwords, financial details and more. Some of them are easy to spot, others not so much!
This is an example of a common one that has been circulating recently:
These appear to come from your colleagues and seem legitimate. Clicking this will take you to a log-in page. If you enter your details, your email account will be compromised. This is bad and will send more emails from your account to your colleagues, and so it goes on.
If you receive such an email, please do not follow any links from it. There is no need to report it, just delete it. Even if you click the link by mistake, DO NOT put your personal details into the linked page.
Please be assured that we are doing everything we can to prevent these emails appearing in your inbox.
I hope this is of some help. If you have any questions or concerns, please email - email@example.com
