FM4: Varieties of Film Experience
FM4 has three sections:
- World Cinema: which examines Japanese Cinema 1950-70;
- Spectatorship Topics: where the topic heading is "Spectatorship: Popular Film and Emotional Response"
- Single Film: Critical Study which will require students to carry out an in-depth study of a specified film covering micro and macro analysis togther with contextual study.

FM3: Film Research & Creative Projects
The FM3 module covers the second year coursework which has two parts, i) a small scale research project and ii) either a film extract/screenplay extract/extended step outline for a documentary.
