Gain new skills and develop confidence through work experience!
Work experience is a great way to learn new skills and gain knowledge of a job role or workplace.
We can help you find a variety of experiences in an industry you would like to work in, anything from a one day taster or voluntary work to an Industry Placement, which provides you with up to 350 hours of work experience, directly related to the course you are studying. These placements often lead to the offer of part time work whilst you are studying and a full time job or apprenticeship when you complete your course.
Industry Placements really make you stand out from the crowd, as you can provide evidence of a qualification and experience, helping you to find a degree, an apprenticeship or employment when you finish your course!
A placement may be arranged as part of your course - talk to your course lecturer for further information or come and visit us in BF04. It's a great way to gain experience and add to your CV.
