Are you curious about your world? Do you want to know more about people’s views and attitudes and get beneath the surface of things? You will learn how to:

• ‘read’ a film, TV programme, magazine or newspaper

• develop your understanding of the visual, spoken and written codes used in their design

• produce your own radio play or documentary

• research an area of personal interest in the media.

There are also additional courses in video production, journalism, and radio presentation and production at New

College and Swindon 105.5 community radio.
